They choose (1) plenty of wine, (2) sheep, (3) a good wife. Later as beggar he is refused hospitality by the two elder and he takes their wine and sheep away. The youngest and his wife are rewarded for hospitality. (Sometimes sacrifice of a child is agreed to - cf. Type 516).
