Thief enters house to steal but stumbles over chair. The husband wonders what the noise is. The wife says that it is probably the dog. The thief stumbles over box. The husband gets up and asks who is making noise. The thief crouches like a dog and says, »It is I, the dog.» Cf. Type 1363*.
