The Stag Admires Himself in a Spring. A stag, seeing his reflection in a spring, is proud of his horns but ashamed of his legs. Later, when he is running away from hunters (dogs, a lion), his horns become caught in the bushes and he is killed [L461]. Cf. Type 132.
