Beschrijving
The Petrified Kingdom. A soldier comes to a kingdom where everything has been turned to stone. He spends three successive nights in a castle which is inhabited by evil spirits (devils), without succumbing to fear. All the kingdom revives, and the soldier marries the princess. Cf. Types 304, 307.
