The Dangerous Sickle (previously The Grain Harvesting). In a land where the use of the sickle is unknown, grain is picked or shot down with guns [J2196]. When the people try to use a sickle, it cuts one of the men. People think the sickle is a dangerous animal and drown it as punishment [J1865]. Cf. Type 1650.
