I. Dispute. A demon takes on the appearance of a man. The man and the demon dispute as to which is the real husband. (a) A boy (shepherd) who is playing that he is a king or a judge makes wise decisions and is appealed to. Cf. Type 920. (b) A jackal (parrot) is appealed to. II. Judgment. The judge states that whichever can enter a pot or tube is the real husband. As soon as the demon enters the pot, it is covered so that the demon is trapped. Cf: Types 330B, 331. [J1141.1.7].
