The Jackal as Trouble Maker. A jackal (cat, fox) carries dissent between two animals (e.g. lion and tiger, lion and bull [K2131.2], eagle and hog [K2131.1]) who had formerly been friends. They fight and kill each other (they die of hunger). Cf. Type 131.
